NIGHTMARE CASTLE (1966) A cheating wife of a demented evil scientist (not a person to cross!) has an affair. The husband kills his wife and her lover. To retain the estate, he marries his wife's half-wacky sister and tries to scare her to death. The ghosts of the murder victims also join the party. Talk about a dysfunctional family. Barbara Steele, in a dual role, plays the wife and step-sister (with blonde hair). MANIA (1959) A great seldom seen horror with Peter Cushing and Donald Pleasance in a re-telling of THE BODY SNATCHER. Cushing is the medical doctor needing bodies and Pleasance one of his hired men. Chilling and gruesome.  ($30.00)

THE WORLD GONE MAD (1933) The local district attorney is the stalked by a murderer. MANIAC (1934) One of the most bizarre movies of all time. A psychopath kills his nutty employer and assumes his idenity. The maniac then causes terror and depravity to all who get involved with him. Definately borrows from Edgar Allen Poe stories. A walling up scene, the maniac mutilating a black cat and general insanity. Pretty strong stuff for 1934. Some of this stuff seems real and not fiction. An early film in Phyllis Diller's career. Here she plays a grungy call girl who wrestles with another woman. Includes a preview trailer.  ($30.00)

THE MAD MONSTER (1942) A doctor (George Zucco) performs experiments on his gardener (Glenn Strange) and creates a wolf man. THE MONSTER MAKER (1944) A doctor injects a man with deforming acromeglia, making him hideous. A murderous gorilla is thrown in for good measure to complete the party.  J. Carrol Naish stars.
